- Casey Bloys has given promising updates about HBOs Game of Thrones Prequels
- Dragon House Season 3 could debut sometime in the middle of 2026
- Bloys also confirmed A knight of the seven kingdoms Arriving in January
HBO -Firker Casey Bloys has confirmed when A knight of the seven kingdoms (Akotsk) will be released.
The other Game of Thrones (Got) Prequel, who was originally to exit once in 2025, is ready to fall in early 2026, according to an interview with Variety in 2025 Emmy’s Red Carpet, where Bloys announced it Akotsk would launch on HBO and its streaming siblings HBO MAX after this year’s turn.
Asked if he could comment on the recent rumors that Akotsk Would fall in the first half of 2026, Bloys said, “I will say January. What about that?”
For those who do not know: A knight of the seven kingdoms is based on ‘Tales of Dunk and Egg’ Novella trilogy that is bound by Got Author George Rr Martin. Set 90 years before Martin’s most important book series, they follow Duncan the high and his squire ‘eggs’, which – spoilers – is the future king Aegon V Targaryen. Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell are ready to make the figures in HBO’s TV adaptation. You can learn more the rest of the series’ role crew and possible plot beats in our dedicated guide on A knight of the seven kingdoms.
Consists of six episodes, Akotsk expected to cover the events of the first short story entitled ‘The Hedge Knight’. It is unclear whether stories from the other two short stories will be folded into its debut season, but we may get confirmation on that front when an official trailer is released. At the time of publication, we have only seen short excerpts of recordings in a HBO Max Max TV show in March 2024, so I hope an actual trailer is not too far away.
A red hot summer waiting for the House of the Dragon
It was not the only significant update that Bloys delivered on HBOs Got universe. In conversation with deadline he also teased when Dragon House‘s third season could be broadcast and said,’ I think it will be just outside [the 2026 Emmy eligibility window]”
At first glance, it may seem like a lint response. However, studies that wish to submit their shows for one or more primetime Emmy nominations must meet certain criteria, including the release of the said TV series before May 31 in a given year.
Based on Bloys’ comments, it suggests Dragon House Season 3 will not be released on HBO or HBO MAX, alias one of the world’s best streaming services, before June 2026. It would mark two years ago Got The Prequel program’s second season was released and only 14 months after filming began on its third season.
If House of the Dragon 3 Arriving sometime in the middle of 2026, it’s probably a red hot summer (or winter, for those of you in the southern hemisphere). In fact, after an uninspiring ending to one of the best HBO Max Shows’ second season, we are destined to experience Targaryen Civil War in full flow next season, which means fire and blood will surely rule.
