- Desk Time Study finds that 75.9% of offices have chatgpt in their workflow
- Time spent using chatgpt in US workplaces increased by 42.6%
- Security Concerns Limit the Chatgpt -Reconciliation in some major global companies such as Apple, Amazon and Bank of America
The rapid increase in the Chinese AI Deepseek was unprecedented, but the shower around its wave is now falling now, with new research offering fresh insight into global AI -admission.
A desktop survey conducted between January 2023 and December 2024, and examined 2,385 employees over 97 companies using its time tracking tool requirements, which Chatgpt remains the most widely used AI tool in workplaces worldwide, with adoption rates continues to grow.
The survey found that 75.9% of the global offices from December 2024 had integrated chatgpt into their workflows, where India was a leader, with 92% of the workplaces that reported using the tool.
US Chatgpt -Adoption hangs behind the global average
In the United States, the adoption in the workplace rose from 68% by 2023 to 72% by 2024. Although this growth was slower compared to other regions, the time spent on using chat rose significantly, with 42.6% of employees reporting greater use.
Meanwhile, individual adoption reached 28.3% of US employees, a remarkable increase from 17% by 2023. This suggests that although several employees incorporate AI into their work, the wider business -covering implementation has decreased.
Desk Time’s survey also found that 75% of US offices used AI tools, including Chatgpt and other similar platforms, in 2024, marking a slight decrease from 76% in the previous year.
Interestingly, AI -adoption swung throughout the year, with use dropping to 63% in January 2024 before rising to 81% in October. These variations suggest seasonal working developments, business policies or developing attitudes to automation may have an impact on the AI degree.
Despite widespread use, it indicates a slower pace in new workplace uptake of chatgpt that companies without prior exposure are hesitant.
“Although Chatgpt adoption varies across offices, it is still in use in almost 75% of US jobs. The slow growth in chatgpt could be attributed to the adoption of other generative AI tools, as well as business policies prohibiting or limiting the use of chatgpt to labor purposes due to concern for data security and confidentiality, “said Artis Rozentals, CEO of Desk Time.
“For example, Apple, Amazon and Bank of America are well -known names known to have restrictions on the tool’s use.”
