A$AP Rocky hits Drake on new track ‘Stole Ya Flow’

A$AP Rocky Disses Drake On ‘Don’t Be Dumb’

A$AP Rocky’s new album Don’t be stupid sparking conversation and controversy with a standout track that many listeners believe is aimed at Drake.

The song Steal Ya Flowreleased Jan. 16 as part of the Harlem rapper’s first full-length project in eight years, features lyrics that fans and commentators widely interpret as a jab at the Toronto artist and his past work.

Given Drake’s long public connection to Rihanna, who is now A$AP Rocky’s partner and the mother of his children, the track is igniting beef rumors.

In the chorus of Steal Ya FlowRocky raps, “First you stole my flow, then I stole your bitch,” a line that many fans directly associate with Drake and his past relationship with Rihanna.

Other bars seem to be calling someone, apparently Halsey, for copying styles or reputations.

“I can’t trust a soul, just my rod and my children / Swear never to lie, cross my heart, hope to die, uh / Then I sold the switch, then I hit it with a kiss, mwah.”

Later in the song, A$AP Rocky adds, “Now I’m a daddy, my bitch worse than my little kid / My baby mama Rihanna, so we’re on it.”

The star did not shy away from the speculation in a recent interview with The New York Times’ Pop castwhere he was asked if Drake was the target of the song.

While he stopped short of naming him directly, Rocky suggested the inspiration was clear, saying, “I think we all know that,” and later reflected on how once-close connections can sour when “people who started out as friends became enemies.”

The rapper has also offered broader insight into the dynamics behind the track.

He suggested that fallout between artists may stem from envy or misunderstanding rather than outright conflict, and he indicated that there is no need for reconciliation simply for its own sake.

While some listeners take Steal Ya Flow in direct response to Drake’s perceived borrowing of creative elements, Rocky maintains that the song’s message may resonate more.

In it Pop cast interview, he said Don’t be stupid isn’t solely about one person, adding that the lyrics are “for those who feel it’s about them.”

Whether fans see the line as a specific diss or a broader commentary on rivalry and influence in hip-hop, Don’t be stupid‘s release has sparked interest in the long-standing tensions between the two high-profile artists.

As discussions continue online and in music circles, there has yet to be a public response from Drake, leaving the conversation entirely in the hands of listeners dissecting Rocky’s latest work.
