“Not one of them was jets, because it wasn’t a good conversation.”
Rodgers Later, with his comments and detailed the “confusing” and “strange” last conversation he shared with Glenn. According to Rodgers, he had flown to Jets’ facility with the expectation that he would have a long conversation with the team’s management about his future.
Instead, what he got was a short talk about Glenn’s desire to move in a different direction.
“It was mildly two years, but I figured that when I flew all over the country at my own crown that there should be a conversation. And the confusing thing for me – and the strange thing – was when I went out there I meet with the coach … We start talking, he runs out of the room.”

Rodgers said Glenn returned with the team’s new general manager, Darren Mougey, but the conversation took a quick turn.
“We sit down in the office and I think we will have this long conversation – I have flown all over the country – and 20 seconds in he goes – I mean literally, I talk to GM about something and he leans to the end of his seat and goes ‘then you want to play football?'”
Rodgers replied that he did it, but was quickly greeted by Glenn’s news.
“We’re going in a different direction at Quarterback.”
“I wasn’t sorry I was surprised,” Rodgers added. “I felt there wasn’t an abundant amount of respect at this meeting. I assume I shouldn’t have been surprised on the basis of some of the things I saw in those two years.”

The most shocking revelation was perhaps Glenn’s explanation according to Rodgers.
“I don’t want to be up in front of the room and say something and make guys look back on you,” Rodgers Glenn claimed. He called the exchange “a little junk” on the part of Glenn, but admitted that he was still grateful for his two years spent with the organization.
Rodgers have been linked to several teams during the high season, but he said on Thursday that retirement is still on the table.
