- Adobe unveils new AI Foundry service for businesses
- The platform will allow custom AI models designed around a company’s IP
- Ads and promotions can be easily customized, changed and transferred
Adobe has launched a new service that allows companies to train customized and tailored AI models on their own company’s IP and branding.
The new AI Foundry service looks set to offer unparalleled customization when it comes to AI models, especially as companies seek to differentiate themselves in this new age.
The move should also help both companies and AI modelers avoid potentially damaging legal issues that come out of company IP being misused by LLMs or other services.

Foundry’s custom models, which can produce text, images, video and more, will be built by Adobe’s own Firefly AI models with the added bonus of extra personalization.
The company says the launch was driven by enterprise customers who wanted more sophisticated custom versions of Firefly. Adobe will work with its customer before a model is launched to ensure that all parameters are met and no boundaries are exceeded.
This will differentiate it from the firms that choose to work with LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google models, as you can simply connect to them via an API.
For example, the company can use the model to adapt an ad to a variety of markets or languages without having to start over each time.
The customized ad will be able to maintain a consistent “look” from the company’s side, and will be made much faster. It can then also be adapted to fit in different channels, making for a much more agile marketing campaign, saving time and money.
Adobe has already signed up Home Depot and Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney’s research and development arm for its theme parks, as early customers – with the latter proving to be a potentially exciting use case going forward.
