Afghan rulers must honor the doha agreement to ensure regional stability: bilawal bhutto

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the Taliban government’s repeated violations of its obligations contribute to instability in the region and calls on the Afghan temporary administration to maintain the promises made in the Doha Agreement.

Talking at a seminar in Islamabad entitled “Pakistan: A Bolvy against Terrorism”Bilawal said terrorism is a global challenge and emphasized that Pakistan has paid a heavy price both in life and resources in the fight against it.

He added that Pakistan continues to perform strong actions against terrorist groups.

“For over two decades, our armed forces have played an effective role in the war on terrorism,” he said, highlighting military operations such as Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-Ul-FasaadAs he said, the back of terrorist network broke.

He described digital propaganda as one of the most complex challenges in the current era.

“We never invited terrorism, but when it came, we didn’t bow – we fought,” Bhutto said. “There is no word for surrender in Pakistan’s dictionary. We encourage the world to respect our passports, our victims and our determination.”

Bhutto also expanded a message to India and said it should learn from Pakistan’s terrorism functions. “We are ready to work with India to counter terrorism. Let’s talk – about Kashmir, water and terrorism,” he said.

When he repeated his warning, Bhutto said that Taliban’s destroyed promises continue to destabilize the region and called on Afghanistan’s temporary rulers to fully honor the obligations filed under the Doha Agreement.
