After Azerbaijan, PM Shehbaz arrives at Uzbekistan on official visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for a two-day official visit, where he was received by Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov.

During his visit, Shehbaz holds bilateral conversations with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which focuses on connection, trade, investment, energy, defense, regional stability and education. The two leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Officials have confirmed that several agreements and the Memorandum (Mous) will be signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

PM Shehbaz will also turn to Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, where top business leaders from both countries will attend B2B meetings to explore trading opportunities.

After his arrival, the Prime Minister visited the independence monument in Tashkent, where he made a flower wreath like a gesture of respect.
