- Workers who use AI every day are more likely to feel job satisfaction
- Clear communication around company AI strategies is important
- AI users are a little more stressed but this can mean higher commitment
According to joint research from Jabra and Happiness Research Institute, workers who use artificial intelligence every day are 34% more satisfied with their jobs than their non-user colleagues.
A clear strategy and communication were also revealed to be crucial, with employees who are aware of their company’s AI strategy 2.5X more hopeful about the future.
In fact, AI has proven to be so helpful in workplaces that workers report better balance between working life and life, with happy employees who are typically 4.5x more likely to be happy in life outside of work.
AI in work formed to be a good thing
According to the figures, frequent AI users report stronger target performance, more advanced opportunities and greater optimism about future job enjoyment and fulfillment.
However, the pressure for master tools, fast craftsmanship and AI -output -verification is assembly, and frequent AI users report up to 20% more stress than rare users. Mildly elevated stress like this could mean higher commitment, but increased stress can also put workers at risk of burnout.
Slow adoption can also be hindering results where only one-third (30%) of workers say their business is meaningful AI clear. This lack of readiness could harm morality and increase frustration despite the interest and will the employees demonstrated.
Nevertheless, a greater conclusion from the study is that AI is far more than just a productivity tool. “It’s easy to talk about AI in terms of productivity. But we have to start talking about it in terms of psychology,” explained Happiness Research Institute CEO Meik Wiking.
The joint Jabra report also tilts the discussion around AI, replacing human workers upside down, rather than suggesting that those who do not use AI could be less likely to feel satisfied in their jobs.
