Artificial Intelligence (AI)-focused blockchain protocol Halliday said it raised $ 20 million to help fund the development of its Agent-Workflow Protocol (AWP) aiming to accelerate the development of decentralized finance (defi) applications and avoid the need for programmers to write smart contracts.
The Serie A Financing Round was led by the venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z) crypto arm.
“Our mission is to pioneer the software era with blockchain, enabling developers to build applications for hours, not years,” Halliday said in an E -mail message. “With Halliday you can never sign a smart contract again.”
Halliday’s blockchain automation without code could help speed up blockchain resolution and change development from smart contracts to AI-driven workflows, making blockchain more accessible, scalable and effective.
The financing round, which follows Halliday’s seeds $ 6 million round in 2022 – also led by A16Z Crypto – included contributions from Avalanche Blizzard Fund, credibly neutral and all layers.
