Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has expressed his gratitude to the National Assembly’s speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for Parliament’s strong support from the armed forces in the light of the Indian aggression.

In a letter addressed to the speaker, Air Chief praised the role of parliamentary leadership in promoting national unity and said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) appreciates the show of solidarity from legislators.

“Speaks of Sadiq’s efforts to strengthen national cohesion in the wake of Indian hostility is commendable,” wrote Chief Marshal Sidhu. He added that the support of parliament and the people gave strength to the armed forces and helped to avert the enemy’s intentions.

The air manager also called the tribute, which was expanded by parliament and national leadership “unforgettable,” and said that PAF’s success is a result of divine blessings and the unity of the nation.

Sidhu confirmed that PAF is fully prepared to defend the borders of the country and consider this duty as a holy responsibility. He also promised continued cooperation to achieve national goals.

His letter was in response to someone who was previously sent by speaker Sadiq, who had written to Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir and air manager Marshal Sidhu, who praises the armed forces – especially PAF – for their professionalism and mother in responding to Indian actions.
