MUZAFFARABAD:

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has called separate meetings of the Supreme Judicial Council and the State Judicial Policy Committee to discuss setting up of consumer courts and dress code for the highest judiciary.

The meeting of the state’s judicial policy committee has been convened on 15 January, while the meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council has been convened on 16 January.

Implementation of Supreme Court decisions, cases related to ex-cadre prisoners, administrative Hajj cases in the AJK High Court, establishment of consumer tribunals, cases related to district judges, dress code for the judiciary and the Service Tribunal Act are part of the agenda.

The agenda for the meeting of the judicial policy committee has also been released.
