Muzaffarabad:
Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Government has appointed Dr. Muhammad Muqeem Ul Islam to new Director General of the Kashmir Institute of Management (Kim).
The appointment was made by the AJK Prime Minister after a strict, competitive selection process performed on the recommendation of the Kim Board of Governors.
The position was unemployed for 18 months, which significantly disturbed the training of officials and administrative development in the region.
Dr. Muqeem has a Ph.D. in public politics and governance from the National Defense University (NDU), a scholarship in public politics for economists from the University of Oxford and an MPHIL in economic development.
Over the past 25 years he has worked in senior education and leadership roles at Premier institutions such as the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) and the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA).
