Allison Holker has revealed that her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, struggled with substance abuse before taking his own life in December 2022.
In an honest conversation with People magazine, the 36-year-old dancer said she discovered her husband was battling painful demons when she found a hidden “cornucopia” of drugs, including mushrooms, pills and other drugs, in Stephen’s closet.
“I was with one of my really dear friends and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” Allison recalled.
“It was a really triggering moment for me,” Stephen’s widow admitted. “It was alarming to hear that there was so much going on that I didn’t know about.”
“It was a really scary moment in my life to find out, but it also helped me process that he went through so much and he hid so much and there must have been a lot of shame in that,” added Allison.
For those unfamiliar, Stephen died of suicide on December 13, 2022. He was found unresponsive in a Los Angeles motel room.
