Amanda Seyfried Reflected on how a defective marketing strategy held Jennifer’s body From getting recognition in spite of being a “perfect movie.”
In a recent chat with GQ Magazine In a video interview, the 39-year-old actress shared her opinion on the horror comedy film released in 2009.
“I can’t criticize this movie, it’s a perfect movie for me,” Seyfried began, “it’s have bullets,”
“We expressed a particular anxiety in a very, very specific, comical way in a very specific genre … There was everything you could wish for,” she said of the film, directed by Karyn Kusama.
Seyfried noted that the marketing of the film was too focused on her Costar Megan Fox’s sex appeal at the time of release
“If the critics criticize something, it would be the marketing. Marketing sucked. It just did. And we all agree … the marketing team cheaper it as if it was just, you know a romp, a gory race. I think they ruined it.”
The film received mixed reviews at the time of release and could not achieve success with Box-Office.
The Emmy Winner who is currently promoting its peacock series Long light rivernoticed that she and Fox did “a really good team.”
