Amazon is ready to host his first Amazon Devices event since 2023, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. 10 EST / 15:00 GMT / 2AM Act on Wednesday, February 26, with many expecting this to be the launch plate for a new AI -enhanced Alexa, along with a handful of rumored Echo and four TV devices.
After announcing Alexa 2.0 with a series of hardware launched back in 2023, everyone has been relatively quiet from Amazon about the future of LLM (Large Language Model) -boved Smart Assistant. Elsewhere, however, rumors have spelled a challenging way to release for Alexa 2.0, including recent concerns that there may be further delays, even with its reveal on the horizon.
However, it may end up being a divisive event and not because of AI-related concerns; Amazon could be by filling out his “trends in the 2020s” bingo card by also announcing a subscription plan for the newly smart Alexa.
We are on the ground in New York City, participating in the event, which is not publicly available for live stream, and we share all the news live as it happens. Keep an eye on!
