- Amazon has sent invitations to a big new hardware -launch
- It will take place on September 30 in New York, USA
- The teaser suggests that we are seeing new echo -speakers, kindles and more
Amazon has just announced its own Apple-style event for later this month, where we are likely to see it launching new Echo Smart speakers, Echo Budde earphones, a new Kindle and more.
The launch will take place on September 30 in New York City with exact timings to be confirmed. But the invitation (above) has given us some good tips for the new products we are likely to see revealed.
Amazon’s last major consumer event was for its new Alexa+ Tab Service Service on February 26, and in the September launch will probably give us more new bits hardware, all of which will play nicely with its renewed voice assistant.
So what has Amazon just in store? We have run our magnifying glass over the invitation above to give you our best guess below.
Amazon’s invitation dissected – what one can expect
1 .. A new Amazon Echo Studio Smart -Attaler
The upper right quadrant of Amazon’s invitation is very similar to a smart speaker-wise a new Amazon Echo study. This would be a too long-delayed update; The original Echo Studio, launched in 2022, and although it still has a place in our Roundup of the best smart speakers, there is plenty of room for improvement.
This speaker’s most important selling point is likely to be Alexa+. It took months for the AI-driven assistant to arrive at Echo-Show devices, but hopefully Amazon has stroked kinks and Alexa+ will be available on the new study from day one.
This will require a major upgrade to the speaker’s silicon, and I also hope this will result in improved 3D sound, which was a quite mixed bag with the original study.
2. A new color Kindle
The lower right hand segment of the invitation is easily the most straightforward part of the teaser showing what seems to be a kind of new color Kindle.
With Kindle Colorsoft out in the wild (and some early teeth problems with its screen resolved), it’s time Amazon expanded his color lineup, so a new model makes a lot of sense.
It may just be the perspective, but the screen looks bigger than Colorsoft, with a much thinner frame for our eyes – closer to the appearance of the existing Kindle script.
The wear of text in the corner of the picture is also interesting: “With […] Battle of a pen ”. Could this just be a coincidence or a slight hint that this upcoming device will offer stylus functionality?
We will have to wait and see if the scripture is getting a colorful update, but this is our most firm prediction right now.
3. Some new Amazon Echo Buds (2025)
It makes sense: the original Amazon Echo buds landed in 2019; The second gene arrived in 2021; The latest Amazon Echo buds (2023) hit shelves in (you guessed it) 2023, and here we are in 2025.
So far, Amazon’s Echo Buds products have proved to be solid but nonspectacular artists during intense review, and get four-stars and not a half-star anymore in the six years since joining the market.
What needs to change-if this is actually the glowing top plate of a fourth gene. The earpiece we see in front of us? Well, the price tag has never been a problem, but more energy and influence through the bass would be our top request; Less fiddly on-ear controls would be second.
Oh, and active noise cancellation is really going to be a must-have in 2025, so it would be third.
Another thought: Are hands -free Alexa de earbuds, it was once? Not with chatgpt available in even nothing is most affordable earplugs, plus Gemini, arriving at the Galaxy Bud 3 Pro, with more Samsung and Sony earplugs to follow, we would bet. So it will be interesting to see how Amazon goes on …
4. New Amazon Four TVs or a Four Tablet
The lower left corner of the invitation shows a TV screen or screen with a frame that suggests a few options.
The most likely is that Amazon is preparing a new selection of brand -TV appliances. Its lineup currently has a few options, led by Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED (like our review brand “One of the best-equipped cheap 4K TVs you can buy” when it landed back in 2023).
Below are the four TV 4 Series and the 2 Series on the Entry-Level 2 Series, which also arrived in 2023. Our Amazon four TV 32-inch 2-Series review did not exactly sing its roses, but concluded that it is a “functional TV at a budget-friendly price”.
In addition to TV devices, we could instead get a new four -tablet, although this seems less likely. Last month, some convincing rumors predicted that Amazon planned to renew its four tablet series by replacing four us with Android. It would be a big deal, but the rumor of Pakinomist suggested this would not happen until 2026.
The last brand -tv option is of course new four TV sticks. Rumors earlier this year predicted that Amazon could switch to a new operating system (Vega OS) for its small streaming sticks in 2025, which would probably prove to be controversial. It is not yet clear whether it also means new hardware, but we probably find out of Amazon’s event.
5. Some surprises – echo frames and echo Auto 3?
In addition to new Echo speakers, Echo -Buds, Kindles and Four TV -hardware, Amazon has a number of other technologies held at SIMMER -could any of these be updated at its 30th September -event?
Amazon Echo Auto 2-a microphone in the car, which allows you to talk to Alexa-landed far back in 2022 and is now unavailable, so it is long overdue an update. Could Amazon prepare a version that runs its new Alexa+ Assistant?
It’s probably also a big week for smart glasses, with Meta Connect 2025 starting on September 17. Could Amazon respond with an update to his Amazon Echo frames (Genesis 3) who have talked into our guide to the best smart glasses?
Amazon’s hardware events have traditionally been a blizzard of new messages, so all of the above is possible. We bring you all the news live, so be sure to return to Techradar in a few weeks for the full overview.
