- A new leak claims to detail the specifications and pricing of AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU
- Price can be as low as $ 269 in the US for the 8 GB model
- Performance is claimed to sit between NVIDIA RTX 4060 TI and AMD RADEON RX 7700 XT
We may finally have a proper idea of what AMD’s long -awaited Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU will be able to – and it seems that it might be worth inductioning in the best graphics card of FAME.
Thanks to leaked information shared by Moore’s Law Is Dead (Mlid) on YouTube, we now know that the RX 9060 XT could be sent with 32 calculation devices, a 128-bit memory bus with both 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM models, and a TDP between 150W and 200W.
Now it is not much to get off at this time, but MLID’s leak also notes that the performance is ‘over the RTX 4060 ten, but probably under the RX 7700 XT’. Okay, so that doesn’t sound to Impressive, but here is the thing: The leak also includes price information and it looks very attractive on that front.
The 8 GB model reportedly costs between $ 269 and $ 299, while the 16 GB version is claimed to be price for $ 329-379. It is unclear whether these are potential price areas that are still considering or expected price areas for AIB Partner Cards. As a reference, the RTX 4060 TI – which it allegedly surpasses – originally passed – originally to $ 399, and it was almost two full years value of the GPU -Price Inflation since.
The Battle of the Budgets
Even if AMD hits us with the high end of these price estimates, it will be a seriously competitive price -protected GPU. Although Nvidia has dominated the market’s high-performance end with its RTX 5000 cards, nobody denies that AMD’s biggest rival has fumbled its budget game recently, leaving Intel (is not as weird) as one of the best options in the affordable PC spill space thanks to its excellent ARC B580 card.
If Team Red can deliver the RXT 4060 TI -Chartering Performance to a price point of $ 269, yes, that’s the game set and match for the budget GPU market -at least for the time being. However, it is worth noting that Mlid’s source says ‘original plan a month ago’ about these expected prices, probably with reference to the recent technical pricing caused by Donald Trump’s customs war. So … See this space, I assume.
Another interesting point raised by the leaks was that the RX 9060 XT may be missing hardware coders-it is possible that AMD to keep the price down only, AMD has chosen to include only the free-to-implementation of the AV1 video coder, not (no doubt better) H.264 and H.265 coding functions as they require a license.
The leaks claim that there are no plans for a ‘non-XT’ RX 9060 card that tracks the two different VRAM versions and the proposed $ 269 basic price. In addition, AMD may be considering a Radeon RX 9050 XT, presumably price somewhere in the $ 200-250 area.
