- Nvidia gets some RTX 5080, 5070 TI and 5070 stock for retail
- However, a source of a larger dealer claims that AMD is pushing far more supply through, with a factor of 2x to 4x
- RTX 5090 is remarkable by not being mentioned, despite the recent rumors that the Blackwell flag ship GPU was going to an increase in supply
Nvidia’s RTX 5000 GPUs at least some stocks look through, but the amount is easily surpassed by AMD’s delivery of RX 9070 graphics card we hear via grapes.
This is Moore’s Law is dead that has a new YouTube video that discusses, among other things, the supply levels for these new GPUs.
The source that YouTuber spoke to is from a larger online dealer and claimed that the outlet has got some RTX 5080, as well as RTX 5070 TI and RTX 5070 GPU storage in the last week – so it’s a glimpse of something positive for the situation with Nvidia’s furniture, with some regular resupping now.
However, AMD apparently sends a multitude of RDNA 4 graphics cards that are at least twice as much as the weekly Blackwell GPU shipments combined (total) -and up to four times as much in some cases (varying week by week).
Of course, it takes this with plenty of caution, but it seems that Team Red is maintaining a consistent and significant lead over NVIDIA in the GPU gene building race.

Analysis: A glimpse of hope for nvidia but it is difficult to feel positive for Blackwell Stock
At least there is more delivery activity going on with NVIDIA now, or it seems, but if AMD really quadrupled the amount of storage Green can muster for a few weeks-with RX 9070 models arriving at quadrupled quantities compared to the total RTX 5080, RTX 5070 TI and RTX 5070 Shipment-It is an Eye-Operation Gulf.
Obviously, this is just talking from a single retailer, which is a very limited overview of the overall picture. But what we’ve seen of late more broadly is that AMDS RDNA 4 GPUs come back in stock from time to time (we monitor it close), while Nvidia’s Blackwell models still appear to have disappeared thin on the shelves. So it would be no surprise if AMD sent a lot more GPUs – something team red has already promised that it would do, I can add. (A major British retailer also supports this, as over-clockers say about the RX 9070 XT, which restores that “large shipments are expected in the next 1-2 weeks”, which sounds promising).
Although the RX 9070 models appear to arrive in more or less daily rebuilds, these graphics cards of course also disappear very quickly and AMD’s offerings still do not meet the demand of players. But then it seems to be a great demand for RDNA 4, which is hardly surprising considering all the negativity of NVIDIA too late, and the glowing reviews that the RX 9070 XT has secured.
The result of all this could be that AMD is really starting to withdraw the market share, and we have already seen hints that this is exactly what is already happening, even at this early stage. If it continues, let’s say that Nvidia has every reason to be concerned, knowing how this is playing out.
Finally, what is also remarkable here is that Nvidia’s RTX 5090 is not even mentioned in the leak from the big retailer, so the online store does not get any fresh stock of the Blackwell flagship. It is nevertheless a niche GPU assigned, but there were rumors that an increase in supply should go to the RTX 5090 at the end of March – and with not much of the month back, nothing is done (literally).
Is an uptick in the RTX 5090 and other Blackwell stock from Nvidia just around the corner? Well, maybe, but it’s difficult to feel very positive about that idea – although at least some inventory now comes through, although it’s apparently in comparison with what AMD has rolled from RDNA 4 production lines.
