Despite her visa expiring on November 10, she refused to return to the United States and remained in Karachi. In mid -January, she tried to enter Karachi Airport, but the airport security force (ASF) handed her over to the police.

According to police, the authorities issued an exit permit to Robinson, valid for 15 days, on January 27 after Sindh -Governor’s intervention. Meanwhile, a welfare organization arranged a plane ticket for her.

However, after receiving approval from the airport staff, she suddenly changed her mind and refused to board the flight and accused the airline staff of forcing her to leave the country.
