- Nothing has teased his phone 3 flagship
- The traditional glyfer apparently disappears
- A July —launch is expected
We have been told that Nothing Phone 3 lands in July, but we don’t know much more about it than that – except for a few exciting new teasers that have just been sent to Nothing Social Media Feed on X (formerly Twitter).
First up we have the statement that “it is all in the details”, accompanied by a close -up of what seems to be a detail on the back of the handset. It doesn’t reveal much, but it fits into the quirky no approach to smartphone aesthetics.
When we talk about aesthetics, the other teaser says Nothing Phone 3 will remove the light-up glyfer that has traditionally been on the back of no phones. If you are unsure what we are talking about, check out our Nothing Phone 2 review.
These glyfer have been a signature part of no phones since the beginning, right up to this year’s Nothing Phone 3A and Nothing Phone 3A Pro – but it seems that nothing goes for a more muted and minimal look with its next flagship phone.

Nothing Phone 2 launched all the way back in 2023, and no CEO Carl Pei told us that there was no 2024 launch for Nothing Phone 3 because the company wanted to get the on-board software and AI integrations right.
We assume that it has now been achieved because nothing in itself has said that the handset will be launched in July. There are undoubtedly several official teasers and unofficial rumors about the phone that comes between every now and then.
At the beginning of the year, a leaked memo suggested that Nothing Phone 3 would go everything into AI-Like any other phone this year, apparently and it sounds like it will be a well-specified flagship phone ready to require a place on our best phone list.
We were largely impressed with Mid-Range Nothing Phone 3A and Nothing Phone 3A Pro hand sets that were launched in March, but it’s been a while since we had a fully expanded flagship from nothing-so expectations are high.
