The first trailer to Andor Season 2 has finally been released online – and it is an incredibly confident teaser that suggests that we are on a wild trip with the Star Wars show’s second and last season.
The 90-second teaser was released today (February 24) on Star Wars’ YouTube channel and social channels and is definitely full of fascinating recordings. Before I grow lyrically about everything it shows, just pack your eyeballs around it below. Larger spoilers follow before Andor” s first season from this time, so keep going with your own risk!

Aside from the self-concentrating excerpts from a series of season 1 reviews (I’m not bitter that my Andor Season 1 Review is not quoted in it, honestly!), The trailer is full of crowd-comfortable character reveals, and lots of explosive action and melodrama.
Actually we already knew that Ben Mendelsohns Orson Krennic would be part of Andor Season 2’s Role Authority – Mendelsohn played earlier the character in Disney+ Show’s Movie – Sefer – One that actually preceded the series’ Release – Star Wars: Rogue One. It wasn’t a secret that Cassian Andors (played by Diego Luna) Android Bestie K-2SO (expressed by Alan Tudyk) would either, but it is nevertheless pleasant to see both characters appear as part of Season 2’s first- Look recordings.

There is much more to unpack from the teaser. There are a few shots of the Death Star that is being built, the titular individual who performs several hidden missions for the beginning rebel alliance, and several recurring figures from Season 1 including Adria Arjona’s Bix Caleen, Forrest Whittaker’s Saw Gerrera, Denise Gough’s Dedra Meero, Kyle Sollers Syril Karn, Stellan Skarsgards Luthen Rael and Genevieve O’Reilly’s Mon Mothma. The latter performance is also especially interesting as she seems to enjoy and/or throw a lavish party. Are we about to see the first musical or dance number in Lucasfilm’s iconic galaxy far, far away? It would be a brave feature on Disney and Lucasfilm’s part, but hey, I wouldn’t be against it!
There will be much more information that falls about Andor Season 2 in the weeks that led to his confirmed April 22 -debut. For now here is its plot synopsis: “Season 2 carries [on] The story of Cassian Andor and the New Rebel Alliance over the climatic four years leading to the discovery of the Death Star and the events in Rogue One… Season two will see conditions intensified as the horizon of the galactic war approaches. Everyone will be tested, and as the efforts rise, betrayal, sacrifice and conflicting agendas will become in -depth. “
