Sky Star joined Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Sabrina Ionescu and A’Ja Wilson on the WNBA edition, which first started with NBA 2K22 when WNBA had its 25 -year anniversary.

The message came the same day Reebok announced his signature shoes. The footwear is seen on the cover.
“Of course we do everything big. Why not debut my signature shoes on the front of NBA2K?!?” She wrote on X.
However, WNBA fans were left behind that Reese was selected over Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark, who received the most all-star voices from fans this year. While Reese repositioned a message on X and said “being an Angel Reese Hater has to suck lol”, there was plenty of criticism to go around.
Reese and Clark will forever be tied together since 2023 NCAA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL NIMION CHAMPIONSHIP, as LSU defeated Iowa and Reese hit “You Can’t See Me” Taunt to Clark in the middle of the victory. The two entered WNBA together, where Clark was No. 1 overall election of the 2024 draft. They were on the same All-Star team last year.

Reese average 13.3 points and 12.8 rebounds per Fight for Heaven this season. She was an all-star last season and will be in the All-Star game later this month.
NBA 2K General Manager Zak Armitage explained to TMZ Sports Wednesday, which is why Reese was elected.
“The NBA 2K26 celebrates the bold, confident and visionary and wnba all-star Angel Reese carries all that on and off the field,” Armitage said.

“In her second year in WNBA, Angel Reese has created waves, created effective conversations and inspired the next generation. She is a storyteller and has helped WNBA grow her audience.”
