Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was caught at an intense moment on Tuesday night as the team fell to Washington Mystics, 79-72.

Reese ended with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and was an effective 7-of-13 from the floor. However, she had a short dustup with a mystic player after a heavenly player who was missing a shot.

As the players started running back on the floor, Reese pushed on Mystic’s Rookie Kiki Iriafen with his right hand. Iriafen fell on the floor after contact. The play continued and it did not appear that any mistakes were given on the play.

The Iriafen got the last laughter after the incident.

Washington rose three points by 35 seconds left in the game. When the shooting clock was wound up, mystery guards Brittney Sykes missed a shot that faded to the left when Iriafen was there to clean up Miss and put the ball in the basket.

Washington improved to 5-7 with the victory and Chicago fell to 3-8.

Iriafen noted eight points and six rebounds for the mystics. Sykes led all scorers with 32 points. Sykes added five assists and three steals to her state line.

Kamilla Cardoso led Sky scorers with 18 points and had 10 rebounds.
