Angelina Jolie just revealed that she “never set foot” in her French home since Brad Pitt’s alleged abuse.
The Oscar-winning actress filed new court documents describing her life after she split from Brad Pitt, where Angelina claimed she and their six children had not even returned to their French winery Chateau Miraval since the divorce.
“Today, the children and I have never put foot on the property considering its connection to the painful events that lead to the divorce,” Angelina wrote in her statement delivered to Los Angeles County Superior Court.
“After the separation, I immediately began to look for a new house for me and our children who originally rented a home while I was looking for a more stable solution,” she wrote further.
Angelina and Brad split in 2016 with Maleficent Star archiving for divorce in the middle of accusations that Brad had physically assaulted her and some of their children aboard a private jet from France to America.
The Mary Talent has detention of their children, Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19 and Twins Vivienne and Knox, 17, after the separation.
“Having such a sudden break from my homes and memories have been tough,” Angelina said in her new archiving too, adding, “I hoped (to give Brad the properties) would make him calmer in his dealings with me after a difficult and traumatic period.”
