Angels in Los Angeles were without one of their better weak Tuesday night, but he had a pretty good reason for the apologized absence.
Yoan Moncada was on MLB’s limited list on Tuesday when he took his US citizenship test.
30-year-old Moncada is from Cuba and signed with Boston Red Sox as an international free agent for a signing bonus of over $ 31 million.

Moncada, 19 years old, immediately became one of the top views of all baseball as a switch hitter. He debuted MLB about one and a half after signing, at the age of 21.

Moncada spent eight seasons with White Sox and put up-and-down numbers throughout his tenure, like the organization while he was there. By 2021 they won all central, but three years later they set the modern time record for most losses in one season (Moncada played on only 12 games last season).
The Infielder has maintained his Cuban citizenship, and he played for Team Cuba in 2023 World Baseball Classic, which cuts .435/.519/.739.
In his career, Moncada is a .252 hitter with a .756 ops. This season he hits .221 with a .436 tree percentage.

It is not yet known if Moncada will be available to Angels ’16: 00 match against Tampa Bay Ray on Wednesday, but at least he goes to Detroit this weekend for a three-game set with Tigers.
