ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes criticized the media’s coverage of anti-ice riots that have taken place in parts of Los Angeles County for the past few days.
Stark images of burning vehicles, rebels spray painting cars with explosives and the intense back and forth between President Donald Trump and California Govin Gavin Newsom over how local law enforcement deals with the problems has been among the topics in conversation.

“The difference (between) what actually happens in Los Angeles and the way it is miscarried is one of the biggest stress tests in modern media in recent memory,” Kimes wrote in his Bluesky account. “Botted Socials, AI, old clips, falling literacy – it’s like watching a broken emergency system hit by a storm.”
Videos and photos of looting have also taken the internet by storm, and because of that, companies in the Los Angeles area have gone up with some of their stores in case of more chaos.

Pakinomist Digital saw a T-Mobile store on the corner of 3rd Street and Broadway Boarding up in the case of another night of protests and riots in the city. While a security guard protected the property, a repairman in the CVS store on the corner of the 7th worked on the center of Los Angeles after several nights of rebellion.
Attorney General Pam Bondi offered a blunt message to the robbers and looting in the deep blue city on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday.
“If you plunder a California business during this, we will charge you for robbery according to the Hobbs Act. No longer are the days of non-dissemination for looting. It’s a criminal act,” she said.
Los Angeles Law enforcement has made dozens of arrests in the wake of days of protests and riots.
