- Apple’s WWDC 2025 starts on June 9 with an opening cardal
- A new teaser suggests the glass-infused iOS 19, among other platforms
- Rumors point to a new design across Apple OS ‘that draws inspiration from Vision Pro
iOS 19 (or iOS 26) could contain one of the most significant redesign in recent memory, at least according to rumors. But now we have a very strong tip from the best possible source – Apple – that a new look comes to its platforms, and it has a well -known visual source.
Most of the rumors of an iOS 19 -Sign update have it and other Apple platforms such as MacOS and Tvos, adopting some of their visual cows from Apple Vision Pro.
Now I know Apple’s mixed reality headset hasn’t exactly blasted the doors off when it comes to consumer uptake. Still, it has inevitably one of the most elegant interfaces that Apple has ever designed. Not only is it controlled easily through the look and gesture, but the whole look is one of liquid, frosted glass elements.
Granted, it is subtle and you have to look closely at elements such as cut edges to see reflections and even the interaction between different screens that can sometimes act as frosted glass aircraft.
Of course, Apple never commented on pre -raised software updates and features, but it plays hypemaster for big events such as the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which starts on June 9 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post Monday, Apple SVP wrote from Marketing Geg Joswiak, “#wwdc25 is next week! Can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. See you 9 June at 10.00 pt.”
While there is nothing remarkable about it, says the five-second animation that accompanies it. It shows the Apple logo, which is then transformed into the Swift Programming Language Logo and eventually Apple Park Rainbow. In both cases, the object is made of what seems to be frosted glass, a look that, yes, is in line with the idea of a glass-infunded iOS 19 (and maybe other platforms).

Exactly how long and deep the frosted glass look can go is someone’s guess, but Apple could apply it to everything from the control center to widgets and even app icons. It can also change the interaction between these interface elements. We can expect more reflections of surrounding icons and windows, and sometimes the ability to look through some elements.
Apple also dropped another tip on his WWDC 2025 developer’s page, where it has a similar glassy Apple logo and tagline “Sleek Peek”. Yes, a glassy look would definitely be “slim.”
These are, as I see it, some pretty strong tips on the future design direction of iOS 19. Still, there are still big questions. Mainly, what happens to the Name Convention?
Apple will reportedly drop the sequential number system for all its platforms and instead switch to a year format, one that may be looking at the coming year. So, for example, iOS 19 iOS 26 and iPados 19 will be iPados 26.
These latest tips shed no light on the upcoming platform names, but the future of iOS design direction may come in frosted focus.
