- Apple Music gets 3 notable new perks with iOS 26
- The updates are rolled out with the Apple Music Sing Upgrades on Tvos
- Apple published the message on WWDC 25, June 9
Liquid Glass, alias Apple’s new glass -like redesign for its software platforms, is a clear headline grabber on WWDC. But what brings iOS 26 to Apple Music?
A few things, actually: Apple Music gets Lyric’s translation, Text Display, Automix to create Beat-Perfect Playlists and sets, plus music pins to put your favorite artists and albums right to the top of your home screen.
Meanwhile, Apple’s floating glass will smooth out what you see while a song plays because it gives more glass-like depth and elements within the art of a track will move with a more three-dimensional quality; in and out of focus as it was.
Automix is here – finally!
What exactly is Autoix? Think trouble -free mixing your songs in a continuous playlist for a stream of music without annoying holes between songs. It will correspond to what a DJ is doing, but is automatically performed by Apple Music via Apple Intelligence’s AI brain. Outstanding!
One of other Biggest perks in today’s Apple WWDC 2025 event in the sound ball? Knowledge that buying either a shiny new set of AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with noise-canceling or AirPods Pro 2 is a smart and future-proof thing to do: Apple has advertised audio recording in studio quality and camera remote coming to these models and as the luck would have, both are also also for sale.

Of course, AirPods, Apple Music and iPhones all especially play together (that’s how Apple wants you to listen): Think personal spatial sound with Dolby Atmos, plus dynamic head tracking that uses your iPhone or iPad as a source device to ping the soundscape around your head as you turn it.
And then there is live translation. I just finished working on a French opera namely Gounod’s FaustAnd I think it can be a big plus for me within Apple Music.

Your iPhone can now become a microphone in Apple Music Sing, with tvos
And we’re not done! With Tvos 26, Karaoke can reach new levels of fun. How? Users will be able to transform their iPhone into a handheld microphone to Apple TV and have their voice reinforced when they belt their very best walking on tayays Eyes open.
Everyone in your Sing-Along session will be able to jump in using their own iPhone to cue up track as well or even respond with one on screen emoji.
Along with the aforementioned text translation and pronunciation updates, plus visual effects to light up the main screen, singing in Apple Music will be more advanced and engaging than ever, so you can sing along, even if you don’t speak the language fluently (which is music to my ears).
I can’t wait to try it. Currently I am continuing to dance at the Pink Pony Club … with all my iPhone toting, Apple Music-Streaming Friends.
