- Apple Music has collaborated with free audio streaming platform tunein to give non-signatures access to its live streamed radio stations
- You can now access six of the Apple Musics Live Radio Stations FREE – a first to music flow service
- It looks like Apple is trying to lure more subscribers by expanding its reach outside the Apple Music -Cosystem
In a first to Apple Music, Music Streaming Service offers free access to its six live streamed radio stations in a new partnership with Tunein – a free online audio flow platform that gives listeners access to radio, podcasts, sports and more.
Apple Music has partnered with Tunein to extend the range of its live radio programs for the free Audio Streamers 75 million monthly listeners, the Wall Street Journal ($/£) reports, and you can access six Apple Music Radio stations outside the Apple Music app for free right now. They are:
- Apple Music 1
- Apple Music Hits
- Apple Music Country
- Apple Música Uno
- Apple Music Club
- Apple Music Chill
Apple seems to be implementing another strategic step to lure new subscribers or regain those who may have switched to competing music flow services – especially Spotify. Just last week, Spotify revealed his rival to Apple Music’s Automix, and it announced its new message feature just a few days ago.
While Spotify offers an ad -supported level, Apple Music does not, and therefore lacks other means to attract new subscribers in addition to free attempts. The decision to expand its radio station access allows it to reach millions of potential new listeners, and if you are tempted to change, this is the Apple Music radio stations I would first try.
1. Apple Music 1
This is undoubtedly Apple Music’s most important radio station, broadcast daily music exhibitions from hosts such as Rebecca Judd, Matt Wilkinson and of course Zane Lowe. It is a warm place for both the latest music releases and for pop culture conversation and often contains guest hosting sessions from some of the greatest artists in the world.
2. Apple Music is hitting
Like Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits also has dedicated slots, hosting both TV stations and artists, but its main goals are to bring you the best hits from the last 20 years through radio segments that highlight specific genres and music from the 80s, 90s and ’00s. It also has curated shows with today’s hits, but not in the scope of Apple Music 1.
3. Apple Music Chill
Apple Music Chill is exactly what the name suggests, serves low pace, relaxing tracks that Apple describes as “an escape, a refuge, a sanctuary in sound”. It contains relaxed artists and producers and a variety of instrumental music, including dinner party and coffee bar mixes, piano cooling and spa music.
