- Three new Apple products could launch this week, claims a new report
- All three must include the M5 chip along with a few other changes
- Rumors suggest Apple plan to launch more products at the beginning of 2026
In September, Apple revealed fresh iPhones, Apple Watches and more, which means the company is now ready for its traditional October product launches. According to the latest rumors, these will be centered on the new M5 -CHIP, which finds its way into everything from iPads and MacBooks to Vision Pro headset.
In fact, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman writes in his latest power on newsletter that Apple plans to lift the lid on these products as soon as this week. If you are wondering what we could see, we have run through all the latest rumors below, which will help you get up in time for the release date.
1. M5 MACBOOK PRO
Apple often releases new MacBook Pro models in October, and it looks like it will play out again. This year, the changes are expected to be smaller, with a new M5 chip the only significant change. This chip is touted to bring better performance and efficiency than the M4 chip that went in front of it.
However, if you have hoped for much more, you may be disappointed. While rumors have suggested that Apple is working on a redesigned MacBook Pro with an OLED screen and a thinner chassis, this is not expected to arrive until the M6 chip touches.
However, there is an interesting change, of course, from Apple about the M5 chip: The company may be able to divide the launch of the different M5 -chip levels. That is, the M5 model could be launched this week, with MacBook Pro models equipped with the M5 Pro and M5 Max Chips, scheduled for the beginning of 2026.
It is not immediately clear why this will happen, but the news output Appleinsider claims to have talked to sources at Apple “who are familiar with MacOS Tahoe development and hardware tests”, which has confirmed this timeframe.
2. M5 iPad Pro
At the beginning of October, the tech world was shaken by the news that the non -released M5 iPad Pro was leaked to a pair of Russian YouTubers that sent videos with complete unboxing and examination of the devices.
The tablets were fully functional and seemed to be real – if not -published – Apple products, which suggested that a launch was imminent. This idea has been cemented by a apparent leak of AT&T, as the company’s site suggests that you will soon be able to pre -order the M5 iPad Pro.
According to testing performed by one of YouTubers, the M5 chip offers in iPad Pro 10% faster single-core performance, 16% better multi-core performance and 34% improved graphics output compared to the M4 chip.
Presumably, the M5 chip in the MacBook Pro should offer similar improvements. Like the MacBook Pro, however, the M5 iPad Pro is expected to be a smaller chip upgrade and not much else.
3. A VISION PRO -Update
Vision Pro-headset has never hit the heights that Apple hoped for, so will another generation of model be able to put things right? Judging by what is joking for this product is far from guaranteed as the industry whispers suggests that Vision Pro 2 comes with a faster M5 chip and a better strap to make it more comfortable to carry in the long term, but make other changes.
Unfortunately, it means that it seems that Apple will not address some of the biggest concerns that have plagued the original Vision Pro. While a new strap would be welcome, it sounds like Apple is not cutting down the actual weight of the headset. The award also seems to be a controversy where a cheaper Vision Pro was reportedly exposed to giving Apple the opportunity to focus on its upcoming augmented reality glasses.
So these are three products set to bring less updates this week instead of far -reaching overhaul. But they are not the only devices on Apple’s timetable – Gurman says upgraded versions of the HomePod Mini, Airtag and Apple TV are on the way as well as iPhone 17E, an M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro and the M5 Max versions of the MacBook Pro. We may have to wait until next year for some of these products.
