Joe Burrow completed one of the largest college football seasons throughout the years as he set the one-season record for Touchdown Passports (60) on the way to a national championship in 2019.
Former Western Kentucky -quarterback Bailey Zapper eventually broke the record hole when he threw 62 Touchdown -Pas in 2021. But Burrow’s national championship season at LSU is something that seemed to have stuck with his former head coach Ed Orgeron.

As the sports world was preparing for the upcoming college football season, Origeron said he is looking a bit burrow in Texas Longhorn’s Quarterback Arch Manning.
“I had an opportunity to go to Texas and talk to their clinic,” he said at Barstool Sports’ “Forgive my take.” “And I saw practice. Now we knew Arch Manning as a little kid from Louisiana. He liked Joe Brady. We saw him (as a recruiter). But I saw his practice (in Texas).

Manning wants the eyes of the college -football world and the NFL world and see him closely. He gets his first big test on August 30 when Longhorns plays defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes. Not to mention, Texas was ranked No. 1 in the Preseasy Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll.

“I’m not really sure how they got these opinions because I’ve only played in what? Two games?” Manning said recently. “I guess it’s nice of them to say, but it doesn’t matter. Number is cheap, I have to go to prove it.”
