Acting is what Ariana Grande loves right now as she seems to hint that she wants to pursue it for the near future instead of pursuing her music career.
“I’m really enjoying acting right now. Whether it’s movies or being on stage or a bit here and there, I think at the moment that’s what I’m most inspired by,” she says in an interview with Today. “I still promise to sing. But yeah, right now, that’s right now where I’m at.”
Previously, the Everyday hitmaker appeared on the Broadway stage. Now she teases that she may return to the theatre. “It would be a dream to find the right thing to return to, to be on stage.” And we’ll see. I am grateful to be along for the ride.”
Besides Wicked’s sequel, Ariana has another movie lined up, Focker Brother-in-law. In this film, she stars alongside Ben Stiller, about whom she gushes: “I mean, I grew up worshiping Ben. Every single person in the cast I grew up worshiping, so to be able to work with them and share a creative space with them was a dream come true.”
Wicked: Too Good opens in theaters November 21.
