Ariel Winter opened up the heartbreaking side of working in the entertainment industry as a child star.
The Modern family Alun, which was postponed on the mentally disturbing experience she faced as a child actress.
“I’m familiar with male predators because I worked in Hollywood at a young age,” said Ariel, who started working at the age of 4 Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old actress continued to say, “I won’t say too much about it, but when I was on a laptop and cell phone, I got inappropriate messages from older men and it caused trauma.”
“The experiences I had personally and online as a child have affected me so deeply that I have had to go to therapy for it. The film and the TV industry are a dark place,” she added.
At the moment, Ariel is working in YouTube True Crime Series Sosa Undercover and explains why she chose to work for a show that exposes children’s predators, “I was like, God, I would very much like to be able to help be part of it. I wouldn’t say there is a solution, but I would very much like to help take some of these people off the street.”
