And before she concluded, she also carried her heart on her sleeve and added, “The experiences I had personally and online as a child have affected me so deeply that I have had to go to therapy for it. The film and the TV industry are a dark place.”

What is relevant to mention is that this is not the first time Winters has been honest about her own experiences as a children’s star.

She spoke in length with People The magazine also, to admit, “it was an important part of my teenage years.”

“It was just everywhere,” she even admitted at the time. According to Winters self “It was every headline I read about myself, just like adult people who wrote articles about me saying how I looked awful or as a fat S ***. I mean, I was 14 years old. It completely damaged my confidence.”
