Rawalpindi:
A Pakistani Army Major and a Sepoy embraced martyrdom, while three terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed group “Fitna Al Hindustan” were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Mastung District, the military said on Thursday.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched on July 23, following reports of the terrorist presence in the area.
“During the performance of the operation, his own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in three terrorists being sent to hell,” the statement states.

During the intense exchange of fire, however, Major Zeeyad Salim Awal, 31, resident of the Khushab district, became the martyr as he led his troops from the front. He was accompanied in martyrdom by Sepoy Nazam Hussain, 22, from the Jhelum District.
The military said a sanitization operation was underway to ensure elimination of other Indian sponsored terrorists nearby.
“The security forces in Pakistan have been determined to wipe out the threat of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country, and such victims of our brave men further strengthen our determination,” ISPR said.
