ARYNA Sabalenka joked that she would not have a “Roland-Garros press conference” after her Wimbledon semi-final loss, but she still delivered for a moment.
Sabalenka, the top seed of the Wimbledon championship, was upset by No. 13 Amanda Anisimova in three sets on Thursday, and in the middle of their match, Sabalenka did not seem to be anything that American drew.
In the second set, Anisimova celebrated from the United States a point before the ball went off Sabalenka.

Sabalenka was asked about her reaction to the point after the match and did not hold back.
“She kind of p — Ed me off, just like by saying, ‘that’s what she’s doing all the time.’ I just tried to chase the ball.
“But I was grateful and grateful that she [did] That because … it actually helped me to keep fighting. I was like ‘OK, now I show you tennis.’ I came back because I got really angry in that moment. Probably in the third set I should have remembered and it would probably have helped. But that’s what it is. “
Sabalenka also appeared heated during the third set as Anisimova took a 5-2 third-set lead on a forhand that tilted the net and then jumped twice on Sabalenka’s side. It is common practice for players to apologize if they score in such a way – but Anisimova did not.

Sabalenka seemed to ask the American why she didn’t apologize.
“I don’t know if it’s something more than gaming masters right there,” said play-by-play advertising Chris Fowler.
“I’ve never heard a player asking it … Not everyone says sorry … She’s not a happy motorhome right now,” added analyst Chris Evert.
