Karachi:
The management of the movement and safety of the VIP lanes at all airports across the country, including Karachi, has been handed over to the Airport Security Force (ASF), confirmed official sources on Tuesday.
They said that ASF will now be fully responsible for the safety of VIP Lane and Lane-2 at all airports, and therefore Pakistan Airports Authority (on) and private security companies are no longer allowed to manage or control access to these specific lanes.
The sources said the decision was made considering increased security concerns.
