Asia Cup 2025 Trophy Revealed As Hold All Set to UAE Showdown

The trophy from the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 has been revealed, adding the expectation of the eight-nation tournament to be started in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (Tuesday).

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi, who is also Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) boss, performed the revealing ceremony.

The event saw the representation of the captains of all teams participating in the tournament.

Cricket fans over Asia are amazed at excitement as the final troops are confirmed and preparations near the completion, which sets the stage for three weeks with top-flight cricket.

Asia Cup 2025 starts with Afghanistan assuming Minnows Hong Kong at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The tournament will be played across two venue-Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium-with Abu Dhabi, hosting eight matches, including a super four clashes on September 23, and Dubai stages the majority of games, including both high-profile Pakistan-India meetings, the archives must qualify beyond the group.

Pakistan, fresh from their victory in the Tri-National Series, has been placed in Group A with India, Oman and hosts UAE. The green shirts open their campaign on September 12 against Oman in Dubai, followed by the much -expected clash with India on September 14, before completing their group phase on September 17 against UAE.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav said during the unveiling ceremony of the trophy that his side was “equally excited” for the Asia Cup and described the twenty 20 format as very challenging where “any team can deliver an extraordinary performance”.

Group B contains Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. The top two pages from each group move on to the Super Four Stage, with the last scheduled for September 28 in Dubai.

All matches start at. 18.00 Gulf Standard Time (7 PST), except for September 15 -Farming between UAE and Oman.
