In the midst of swirling rumors of his resignation-as he has denied hard-defended Defense Minister Khawaja Asif with PML-N president Nawaz Sharif at his residence on Friday.
No statement was issued to the media about the content of their discussion.
The Minister of Defense recently drew public attention after sending out the bureaucracy and accusing it of violent corruption.
In a post on Tuesday, Asif wrote on X, “More than half of the bureaucracy in our dear homeland has already acquired property in Portugal and is now preparing to secure citizenship”.
“These are prominent bureaucrats who, after the subpoena of billions, now enjoy a relaxed, retired life,” he wrote.
In comments to politicians, Asif noticed that they “live off the remains and make noise, without owning grounds or holding foreign citizenship because they are bound by the need to compete elections”.
He also claimed that “the central number that facilitates the bureaucracy and other elites to get shelter in Portugal is Mr. Jomk”.
“These are well -known bureaucrats. Nevertheless, after consuming billions of rupees, they live comfortably a retired life. One of Buzdar’s closest bureaucrats has collected four billion rupees right in Salami for his daughters’ weddings and is now quiet to enjoy a retired life. And there are no plots or that they have retired because they have had to have to go to the left competition choice.
It is reported that Khawaja Asif’s outbreak was triggered by the arrest of a further Deputy Commissioner (revenue) of Sialkot on transplant tax fees. The said officer is reportedly close to Khawaja Asif and his family.
