- The star of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag have suggested for a remake
- Matt Ryan, the actor behind the game’s protagonist Edward Kenway, told a fan that “they might have to beat it again”
- Ryan added that “there is a reason” he said it, but added that he “can’t say anything”
Starring role actor for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag has suggested that a remake of the 2013 game is on the horizon.
Rumors of one Black flag Remake has been circulating for a good while, but now Matt Ryan, the actor behind the game’s protagonist Edward Kenway, has hinted at his potential release again.
During a recent conference-and-and-greeting, Ryan asked a fan if they had beaten Black flagAnd when the fan said they had it, the actor gave the most obvious hint that the game is on its way (via IGN).
“Have you beaten the game?” Said Ryan in the video from Tiktok user ‘Thilarchive’. “Well, you may have to beat it again …”
When the tab reacted and asked, “Is it true? I have to run through them all again,” Ryan flashed and said, “Well, especially this one. There’s a reason I say so, but I can’t say anything.”

In June 2023 it was reported Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was allegedly on line to get a remake. Two sources at the time said the remake was “still in its earliest stages” and that Ubisoft Singapore is involved, one of the studies that has developed the franchise’s marine technology to help modernize the stealth game.
Later that year, Black flag Was calmly delisted from Steam, reigning with remake rumors, but it was later confirmed that this was due to technical problems and the game was later reintroduced on the platform.
Almost two years later, Ubisoft has not yet made a formal notice of a black flag recording.
After success with Assassin’s Creed ShadowsEarlier this year, Ubisoft announced that it delayed some of its great unannounced titles to allow for better quality games that included titles from its greatest brands: Assassin’s CreedAt Far CryAt Rainbow sixAt The divisionand Ghost Recon.
It is confirmed that there are more Assassin’s Creed Games in the works right now, including Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe and Assassin’s Creed JadeBut it is safe to assume that these titles have been affected.
