- Details of the first Assassin’s Creed Shadows expansion have leaked
- The DLC is apparently titled Awaji’s claws and could introduce 10 hours of additional content
- The information comes from a recently deleted Steam listing update for the game
Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ the first expansion has apparently been leaked ahead of the game’s official release.
This is evident from a new post on Assassin’s Creed subreddit, as spotted by VGC, where the first details of the game’s unannounced downloadable content (DLC) were revealed via a now-deleted Steam listing update.
The first DLC is apparently titled Awaji’s claws and is expected to introduce 10 hours of additional content to Shadowsalong with a “new explorable area” and a new weapon type called “the Bō”.
Since the update has now been removed from the game’s Steam page, there isn’t much more information to go by, but some fans theorize that Awaji’s claws could be the free DLC previously promised if you pre-order the game.
Last week, Ubisoft delayed yet again Assassin’s Creed Shadowsthis time to March 20 from the original release date of February 14 “as part of the renewed focus on game quality and engaging day one experiences”.

The next one Assassin’s Creed the game was originally set for a November 12, 2024 launch date before being delayed the first time back to September 2024.
