- Performance -States to Assassin’s Creed Shadows on PS5 Pro has been confirmed
- Expect performance, allegiance and balanced states
- On PS5 Pro offered ‘extended’ beam tracking in two modes
Ubisoft has detailed its benefit conditions for Assassin’s Creed Shadows On PS5 Pro. It’s about what you would expect for the upgraded hardware, with ‘extended’ beam poron is the main feature.
As confirmed by an official PlayStation -blog post, Assassin’s Creed Shadows Will contain three separate benefit conditions on both PS5 and PS5 Pro: Performance, Fidelity and Balanced.
On both consoles, these benefits are largely identical. All targeting a sensed 2160p (4K) resolution. In terms of image speeds, you get a targeted 60 fps in performance mode, 30fps in Fidelity mode and 40FPS in balanced mode (designed for screens that support variable update speed and HDMI 2.1).
The big difference between the PS5 and the PS5 Pro experiences comes down to radiation tracking. On the standard console, Performance Mode offers ‘selective’ radiation tracking that limits global lighting to hiding place. It’s your base of operations in Shadows, By the way. Meanwhile, ‘Standard’ Radiation Tracking is used on both faith and balanced conditions that provide the function throughout the game world.
Ray -Sporing seems to be upgraded to Assassin’s Creed Shadows On PS5 Pro, then. Performance Mode offers the standard beam -tracking experience, while Fidelity and Balanced bring ‘extended’ beam that are tracked to the table. According to the PlayStation blog post, this includes “Full support for radiation pording for calculating global lighting for diffuse lighting and reflective surfaces throughout the game world.”
Currently, it is not clear whether beaming can be deactivated completely if only to squeeze some additional services based on each of the three modes. Ray -tracking is of course nice from a visual point of view, but I personally prefer more reliable performance everywhere.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Launched on March 20, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
