Ghotki/ di Khan: At least 10 people were killed and dozens by others were injured in separate road accidents in Ghotki, dera Ismail Khan, Layyah and Chichawatni on Sunday.
Four people were killed and two others were injured when a car twisted off the road and threw themselves into a ditch while coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwas di Khan’s Al Markalan village.
Rescue officials confirmed that among the deceased were two brothers and a child, adding that the bodies of the deceased and the wounded bodies had been moved to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.
In a separate tragic incident, three individuals were killed and more than eight were injured when a quick truck overturned on the M-5 motorway near Sindh’s Ghotki.
The motorway police said the deceased and wounded were all from Muzaffarh’s Alipur Jatoi area. Animals transported in the truck were also injured in the incident, police added.
In another road sauce, a quick bus was involved in an accident near Nawan Kot, resulting in two individuals and injuries to 26 others, rescue officials said.
The passenger bus traveled from Lahore to Caror Lal Esan, Layyah. Six of the wounded are in critical condition and have been referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan for treatment.
Separately, a lawyer was killed and two others were injured when a car overturned in the Iqbal Nagar area of ​​Chichawatni. They returned from the village of 19/14 l, the hospital’s officials said.
