An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), headed by Justice Arshad Javed, on Tuesday approved post-arrest bail for six Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) workers on charges of arson, vandalism and attacking the police.
Muhammad Umar, Saeed Ahmed, Saleem Shah, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Rehman Ali and Imtiaz Ali were granted bail.
The defense attorney stated that the defendants were arrested on the basis of statements from co-defendants.
He pleaded with the court to grant his clients the benefit of bail as there was no evidence against them.
After hearing arguments, the court ordered their release on bail.
