PTI founder Imran Khan has been instructed to perform via video link from Adiala Prison for the next hearing as Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) postponed the general headquarters (GHQ) attacks to October 1st.
The development came after the Punjab government formally withdrew its notification to hold a prison attempt in the case.
Chairman of ATC judge Amjad Ali Shah, the court issued a call for three witnesses to perform during the next hearing and instructed Challan copies to be distributed in 11 other cases on May 9 the same day.
Former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also participates via video link from Lahore Prison.
The home department’s notification, which withdrew the prison trial, was submitted to the court of public prosecutor Ikram Ameen Minhas at the request of KHAN’s legal team.
The consultation of the GHQ attack case has been postponed until September 19, and the procedure in the other May 11 9 cases will be resumed from October 1st.
The GHQ attack case had been stopped for three months.

The court ordered all accused to secure participation on October 1, including KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. PTI leaders Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Zartaj Gul and Kanwal Shauzab failed to appear despite arrest warrants and the procedure has begun to declare them proclaimed offenders.
GHQ attack
An anti-terrorism Court (ATC) in December 2024 accused former Prime Minister Imran Khan and other PTI leaders in connection with May 9, 2023, attacked the general headquarters (GHQ).
Earlier this year, Imran Khan was arrested in the GHQ attack case, shortly after his release order was issued in the Cypher case.
Express News achieved a copy of the GHQ Attack Case report that outlines 27 serious charges against Imran Khan and other accused persons.
The report claims that the defendant under the leadership of the former minister of provincial law Raja Basharat, the accused stormed the GHQ port, causing significant property damage despite being warned by military staff to stop.
It is alleged that the defendants have broken into sensitive areas of GHQ, set fires, thrown gasoline bombs and created chaos in the premises.
According to the report, song like “No Pakistan without Khan” and “Behind this terrorism allegedly raised, targeted at military staff and attacks reputation for Pakistan’s armed forces.
The investigation report states that attacks were also made on sensitive ISI and GHQ offices that characterize the protest as a criminal conspiracy.

November 26 Protest Case Hearing
Separately today, an anti-terrorism (ATC) has framed charges against 11 arrested individuals in the protest day November 26.
ATC judge Tahir Abbas Supra conducted the hearing, where the defendants did not plead guilty. The court postponed the procedure until September 24.
In the same case, PTI leaders remain on preliminary bail until November 13.
Police have submitted the Challan of those arrested out of 195 workers nominated in the Secretariat Police Station case, while 184 absent has already been declared declared offenders by the court.
