Athletics Center Fielder Denzel Clarke is no stranger to making incredible plays in Outfield, but what he did Monday night against Los Angeles Angels puts him in the conversation “Catch of the Year”.
Clarke flipped almost over the midfield fence to Rob Angels’ Nolan Schanuel from a solo home, Wowing audience and everyone who saw in the process.
Even Schanuel was in awe when Clarke scaled the wall, the catch with all its upper half took over the wall and spun back to land on the feet of the warning track.

Of course, Clarke let out a roar when he landed back in the play area, as one would after drawing a catch of that rarity.
“Oh my God!” One of the Athletics advertisers said when Clarke played the miraculous game. “I’ve heard the list. I’ve seen the list of the biggest catches you’ll ever see in your life. If you don’t have room for this one on your list, we’ll see two different sports.”

This catch from Clarke came just days after he played another astonishing game in his athletics home in Sacramento against Baltimore Oioles.

Clarke was forced to hit Jets on the left-center field when Jorge Mateo Roped a ball against the wall. Clarke never slowed down his step as he reached out to catch the catch and he paid the price as he slammed into the fence to finish the entrance. The play also held A’s lead of 4-3.
For Clarke, this game in Anaheim on Monday night was just his 16th with athletics when he started the season in Triple A.
But the 25-year-old certainly gives a name to himself defensively in his first cup of coffee in the big leagues.

Clarke also hopes to get the bat going as he had a .224 average with a Homer and three RBI coming into the game.
