Auburn Men’s Basketball Head coach Bruce Pearl paid tribute to Charlie Kirk during his performance on Outkick’s “Don’t @ Me” with Dan Dakich Friday.
Kirk was murdered on Wednesday, and Pearl was one of the many sports figures to offer prayers in the immediate demand for his death.
“Charlie was a faithful man. He knew where he was going when his time came. I know that wasn’t what he was planning because he had so much to live for here,” Pearl began.

“He lived, I think, the most important revival that took place in our country, and it was young, conservative, Christian people who were on fire to God who are on fire for Jesus on fire for this country to help get involved in service and processes and also began to see that the other side was so different from how they felt about faith and family and right to life.
Pearl then tore the “opposition” of the political attack against Kirk because “they couldn’t beat him” in the debate.

“The opposition draws further from us and becomes more violent. I think the reason they become more violent is that, like Charlie Kirk, he proved every time he discussed and discussed he was on the side of the right, he was on the side of the good he was on the side of exactly story for most of what he was talking about and they could not beat him. Eliminated, they eliminated him.
“Here’s the deal … none of us could touch Charlie. He had another gift and he will be hard missed.”

A suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested by Utah police. President Donald Trump announced that a suspect was in custody of “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning.
