Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings players entered a scrap with 1:34 back in the first period Tuesday night. King’s tips Warren Foegele got a big hit from Avalanche defender Josh Manson near benches. Feegele gently skated back to his teammates.

Seconds later, the kingdom of Jeff Malott stepped up and started fighting Manson. Malott may have been the perfect guy to challenge Manson since his brother, Mike, is a fighter and coach in the UFC.
Malott and Manson fought for a few seconds before eventually hit the ice. Officials broke fistic buffs shortly after.

Los Angeles and Colorado were scoreless in the first period, but it was avalanche who picked up the victory in the end. Martin Necas scored two goals and Nathan Mackinnon had two assists.
