An awkward on-air silence took place during ESPN’s broadcast of Indiana Fever-Las Vegas ACES game on Sunday, after analyst Rebecca Lobo said, “That’s what makes America great.”
Lobo’s comment referred to say that she disagreed that officials made a bad call in the last minute of ACES ’89 -81 victory over the fever.
“They disagree with you,” play-by-play advertisement said Pam Ward to her partner Lobo.

“They do, and I disagree with them,” Lobo replied. “And that’s fine. That’s what makes America big right Pam Ward?”
After asking this question, there was a long silence between the two before Lobo said, “I should rephrase it,” as Ward responded, “yes.”
Ward then suggested that Lobo said “meaning difference,” which she agreed. She even said “sorry about it” before she continued to call the game.
Caitlin Clark’s shockingly cold stripe continues when fever crumbles in the fourth quarter to aces
Caitlin Clark-led fever was down to the second straight game as the reigning WNBA-ROOKIE of the year struggled to shoot from the three-point line again.
After walking 0-for-7 in the loss to the Golden State Valkyries last Thursday, Clark was only 1 for 10 in Las Vegas. While she couldn’t find a long -range stroke, the aces returned to the fourth quarter to beat the fever that led through the first three periods of the game.

Clark went 7-of-20 from the field with four made free kicks for a total of 19 points.
Meanwhile, three-time League MVP A’Ja Wilson and her 24 points for the game began to take over their home ground in crunch time.
Collaborated with Jackie Young (19 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three stealing) and Chelsea Gray (18 points, three rebounds, three assists), Wilson and ACES OUTSCORED FEBER 31-20 in the fourth quarter to run away with the victory.
While Clark struggled with his jumper in this game, the fever saw great contributions from the game’s leading goal scorer, Aliyah Boston, who had 26 points on 12-of-19 shooting, and Kelsey Mitchell, who had a large part of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to keep Indiana in the game.

After Mitchell’s three-pointer bundled items of 69 per Pcs. Five minutes to play, however, the aces tightened in and began to pull away thanks to some key baskets from Young, Wilson and Gray.
The West Coast plan continues for the fever with a last match against Seattle Storm on Tuesday before going home.
