Pakistan’s star dough and former skipper Babar Azam have performed Umrah and was seen participating in ITAR in the holiest place, Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
In a video posted on Safeer Azams-Babar’s brother-instagram account, the right-handed dough can be seen enjoying a date while sitting in the open area near Kaaba.
“Alhamdulillah,” read the video’s caption. Meanwhile, Safees shared in another post in the same account several pictures with Babar with the hashtag “Umrah 2025” – confirming that the duo was in Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage.
This is not the first time pictures appear by Babar, who spends time in the holy cities of Makkah and Medina under Ramadan.
The former Captain had also performed Umrah in the Holy Month Ramadan back in 2024.

The cricketer, known for his skill on the field, has been in the limelight because of his performance in Champions Trophy 2025 and subsequently snub from the team to the upcoming T20i series against New Zealand.
The New Zealand tour runs from March 16 to April 5, with the T20i series set at 16 to 26 March and the ODI series scheduled from March 29 to April 5.
However, Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) was making a decision to exclude Babar from the site not well with his father who went to social media to highlight his son’s results, pointed out that he was named in the ICC T20i team of the year and awarded the team’s cap, but still was still dropped.
He expressed confidence that Babar would make a strong comeback by presting well in the upcoming National T20 and Pakistan Super League (PSL).
